Join us as we celebrate the fertility of nature, the mysteries of life, birth, death, joy and mirth at our 2009 Beltane celebration!

When: May 1 – 3, 2009 (Actual ceremony is on Saturday May 2 – Noon)
Location: Hills between Orange County, CA and Lake Elsinore, CA
Registration: $20 per person
Camping: Highly recommended but not required

Temple of the Ninefold Goddess is celebrating its annual Beltane feast in an old grove of beautiful oak trees high in the hills where the spirits of the land are alive and present, and the vibrance of spring can be felt in every breath. Dress in your ancient Greek attire, bring your chalice and a chair, and join us as we dance the maypole, make offerings to the Dionysos stone and quicken our blood by the sacred fire. This event takes place over the weekend at a private campground. Many of us camp as it helps us get closer to the Earth, nature and the season – but camping is not required. We’ll hold ritual to honor the ancient ones, followed up by a feast of Greek food, and enjoy the fruit of the vine as well as the bread of the earth together.

Date: August 1-3, 2008 (Ceremony on Aug 2)
Place: Angeles National Forest private campground
Registration: $20 per person
Due: Registrations are due by July 13th, 2008

The heat of our California summer is at full strength and the sun shines high in the sky – it is time for Lammas. At Lammas we celebrate the first harvest, and a shift in the energy of the earth from physical toward spiritual.

This year, we honor one of the oldest of cultures, the Babylonian civilization, by calling upon the legends of Ishtar and Tammuz her lover. Our location is a private campsite in the Angeles National Forest where we have held past sabbats for many years. It is rich with coven history and an awe-inspiring location.

Our celebration is a weekend event including workshops, activities, a ritual and camping. (Camping is optional, you can come up just for the ceremony that day if you’d like.)

You can download the invitation (PDF), and email it to Hyperion for more information.

We look forward to having you join us this Lammas as we honor Ishtar and Tammuz!

Sorry for the delay, but I finally put the Samhain 2007 photo gallery up for your viewing. You can see it posted on the left hand navigation for the site. Enjoy!
